Family Brought Kitten Home to Foster But Their Cats and Dogs Took Him in As Their Own

This gray baby was picked up on the streets of Quebec, Canada. He was skinny, fearful, and battered – at five weeks old, this baby looked much smaller. Kind people rescued him and took him to a shelter.

“He had a belly full of worms, and that’s why he was so tiny for his age,” Marie Simard, founder of One Cat at a Time, told Love Meow.

At the shelter, they named the baby Felix and helped him recover. A little later, the kitten was adopted by a volunteer named Meg, who had several cats and dogs at home. This lump of tenderness immediately lit up the woman’s home with her energy.
Within a short time everyone, including the family’s pets, fell in love with Felix. He quickly became accustomed to the new surroundings and new friends became lively and cheerful. He got his best friend, a dog named Casper.

“Casper was becoming attached to Félix. He had lost his morning play-fight partner and his bed time cuddle buddy, but it wasn’t long until Félix took that spot.”

“Félix is always running around and makes the cutest meows when he’s over excited. He’s not afraid of anything,” Meg said.

Casper accepted the kitten as his little brother. He constantly watched him, protected and cared for him. The two played together and were always close by. At the same time, friendly Felix had time to spend time and play with other animals. And the adult cats of the family trained Felix in all the important feline activities.Семья взяла уличного котенка на время, но у их питомцев был другой план

When it came time to find a permanent home for the kitten, Meg already knew that his home was here. They were so used to this baby that they were not ready to give him away to other people. That’s how Felix got a big and friendly family!
Now Felix is an active, friendly, healthy, and playful kitten. He loves to explore all the corners of the house, and he still spends time with his furry brothers and sisters. Thanks to the kind people who rescued this little guy!
