In a dark alley, volunteers stumbled upon an extraordinary little kitten with a genetic anomaly on its face. They wasted no time and brought the unique feline to the Hong Kong animal rescue center, Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP).
The kitten’s distinctive features included a large flattened nose, parted lips, unusually huge eyes, and fewer teeth than the average cat. Remarkably, despite the genetic defect, Zodiac, as the kitten was named at the center, behaved just like any other normal kitten, except for some difficulty in eating due to the anomaly.
It appeared that Zodiac’s appearance led someone to abandon him on the streets. Initially frightened, the kitten quickly relaxed and showed affectionate behavior when in the presence of humans.
As Zodiac grew a bit, the rescue center placed him in a temporary foster home while actively seeking a loving owner for this extraordinary and unique little ginger kitten.
