Tilly Nieman openly admits that she had always been a “big girl.” However, during her high school years, her weight escalated to 89 kilograms. Regrettably, she had to endure derogatory comments such as “hippo” behind her back.

To cope with her self-consciousness, she resorted to wearing excessive makeup. The turning point came when she struggled to fit into clothes at a store, even the largest sizes proved to be too small.

At the age of 16, Tilly made a resolute decision to embark on a weight loss journey.

Her breakfast routine shifted from consuming bagels and hot chocolate to opting for fruits and coffee.

For lunch, she replaced tuna panini and pasta with tuna salad or pizza on toast. In the evenings, her dinner consisted of pasta with low-fat sauce, salmon accompanied by rice and vegetables, or beans with cheese. Previously, her diet would consist of pizza and pasta drowned in mayonnaise-based sauces.

Within eight months, she successfully shed 16 kilograms. This achievement ignited Tilly’s motivation to continue her weight loss journey while gradually incorporating physical exercise into her routine.

Presently, she weighs 57 kilograms and feels like an entirely different person.

Once fearful of her own reflection, she has learned to admire herself in the mirror. Tilly is delighted that she can now comfortably wear any clothes and feel both confident and attractive in them.
