The Met Costume Institute Gala, held from May 1 to 2, will be remembered not only for the captivating ensembles on the red carpet but also for the revealing outfits chosen by the stars for the after-party.
Unfortunately, Kylie Jenner faced a setback as she was denied entry into the Met Gala 2023 after-party and had to leave.
Despite her penchant for daring looks, Kylie Jenner appeared relatively modest compared to many other celebrities, opting for a black maxi dress inspired by a tuxedo.
However, according to reports from Page Six journalists, the reality TV star was unable to gain access to the party itself.
Witnesses spotted Kylie leaving the after-party hosted by Richie Akiva, Doja Cat, and Diddy at the Box Club.
She never made it inside. Insiders revealed in an interview with reporters, “They didn’t let her in. At one point, the organizers simply closed the door because the venue was overcrowded.”
Nevertheless, other sources provide a slightly different perspective on the situation.
According to these sources, Kylie was indeed welcomed to the party, but she arrived much earlier than anticipated, catching everyone off guard.
She had hoped to be escorted through the back entrance directly to her sister Kendall, who was attending the after-party with her boyfriend, Bad Bunny.
However, their early arrival placed them right in the midst of the bustling crowd.
“Kylie was asked to wait, but she exited the car earlier than she was supposed to. As a result, the organizers couldn’t accommodate her,” explained the insiders.
Moreover, Kylie herself wasn’t particularly keen on staying at such a crowded event. She has never been fond of large gatherings and crowds, especially in clubs.
In fact, reports accurately depict the extent of the crowd. It is known that the police had to assist in clearing the streets in the morning.
