Both Malamutes live with Emma, Shane and their baby, who was born not too long ago. Also, a cat named Milo lives in the house. We’re sure they’re never bored with this group!
The couple says that they have always liked big dogs, and at first they wanted to become husky owners, but then they learned about malamutes. The boys got Phil from Liverpool when he was a sleepy and very shy pup. Nico joined the family a year later when Phil was already grown up and had been taught all the rules of behavior.
Emma describes her pets as very intelligent, and understanding, but independent. They behave perfectly during the travels that this family regularly goes on, always happy to have adventures and activities.
However, as Emma, herself admits, with malamutes everything is not so easy. As children, these dogs bully a lot, and because of their large size, the consequences of their naughtiness can be devastating. Also, they are difficult to train and teach commands, but if you can do it, the result will exceed all your expectations.
