A tiny resident, an adorable tricolor named Faya, appeared in the Isle of Hope shelter. The tiny kitten fit in the palm of the hand, squeaking and begging people for affection with her sad eyes. No wonder, considering that Faya was born on the street and was a lonely, unwanted child.
Who knows what fate could have befallen defenseless Faya in the harsh streets, if not for the volunteers at the shelter? It was the good people who helped Faya feel better, gave her warmth, fed her, and took care of her health.
Faye was just over a month old when she arrived at the shelter. Her coloring and round eyes made the young cat look like an owl. She stood out brightly among her congeners, and, moreover, attracted attention due to her very affectionate and sociable nature.

In spite of the fact that Faya was in fact just a child, she showed all the makings of high intellect. The smart little girl adored games, and riddles, and was always looking for adventures of her own tail.

Almost two months Faya had to spend at the shelter before fortune favored her. She went to live in an apartment with a family who already had an adult cat.
Faya and her new friend got on well together quickly, and little Faya even began to adopt some of the habits and manners of her wiser companion.
