Makowski is the captain of a lobster fishing boat. He goes out on the high seas every day, and for the past 15 years, a seagull, whom the man nicknamed Red Eye, has accompanied him on these little journeys. The bird arrives, sits in front of the window, and just stares at John.
John has nothing against such pleasant company. He has always fed his friend and enjoyed his company, but one day he noticed that Red Eye had some trouble with his paws. The man decided to take the bird to the Wildlife Center.
It turned out that the seagull had broken legs if not for John’s intervention, who knows how it might have ended for Red Eye. While the vets treated him, the man carried his friend fish and just kept an eye on him.
When Red-Eye fully recovered, he was released into the wild. Now the seagull flies back to John’s boat, together they continue to plow the endless sea expanses.
