Another unhappy dog who had been through a lot in her life was brought to the Good Heart Shelter. She was a little smaller than a spaniel, with kind eyes, and had a strange way of moving one of her legs.
As told by the people who found the dog, she literally out of nowhere appeared on the road. Poor thing clearly has long ago received a paw injury, and it could not do anything with it.
Fortunately, she survived the surgery and, being young and healthy, recovered quickly. Volunteers decided to name her Vitaminka, a positive name that was supposed to bring her good luck. Vitaminka was soon completely accustomed to her three paws.
Vitaminka was as frisky and active as any other dog, but her missing paw reduced her chances of finding a home. She needed people who would be able to discern her delicate and needy soul behind an insignificant physical difference. And such a family soon appeared in her life! The family visited Vitaminka several times, played with her, went for walks, and got to know her better. Soon it was decided to take the doggie to a new home.
The owners are very fond of their pet, despite the fact that she does not do everything right the first time. At first, she was afraid of elevators and loud noises, but she is over all that now.
Vitaminka and her story are just another proof that everyone in this world has the right to happiness. Now, this doggie has owners who love her with all their hearts!
