A passerby picked up a little kitten on the streets of California that was covered in car oil and fleas. He was in a terrible state, and they noticed him just in time.
People brought the kitty to the Friends for Life shelter, where they gladly took care of it. Volunteers thought that the baby was about four weeks old, but it turned out to be seven weeks old. For his age, he was very small and weighed only 450 grams.
At the shelter, the baby was fed and bathed. The staff was most surprised by the results after the bath – it was as if a different kitten appeared in front of them. The baby had a white, beautiful coat.
Unfortunately, the baby, named Laszlo, was found to have many health problems. He was very weak and could barely walk on his skinny legs. The staff monitored him around the clock, giving him IV fluids and medicines.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for the staff to see the results of their efforts – soon Lazlo perked up. He became much more active and even began to eat on his own, which had previously been a problem.
The kitten began to actively gain weight, play more, and communicate with his caregivers. However, a little later, the staff and veterinarians discovered another problem – the baby was completely deaf. But despite this, he grew up active, playful, and happy, as if he had no features at all.
Lazlo is a wonderful boy. He now explores every corner of the house, and loves to scoot back and forth and play with the other kittens. He is living life to the fullest and is very grateful to his caregivers for rescuing him.
They will start looking for permanent owners for this little guy soon. Let’s wish Lazlo find the best family because this brave little boy deserves the greatest happiness!
